so my parents are outta town today (friday) until sunday. it's kinda weird b/c this'll be the first time that i'm home alone and i haven't had ppl over. usually i make it sound like i'm just having one person over, but hey what parents don't know, can't hurt them that much.

i've had my fair share of parties here. gotta keep it on the dl though, since the sheriff's backyard is like across the street. but i've never been caught, or ever questioned about it. by far my best and closest call was my sophmore year in high school. my parents went to a weekend conference and left me tending to the house. it was about 2-3 weeks before i woulda gotten my driver's license i believe, or maybe 2-3 weeks before i turned 16 i don't remember. anyways i took the car and picked up my friends and we went to dinner and a movie. on accident i left the lights on and the car didn't wanna start. talk about trouble. lucky for me, i gave it a few choice words and it started up and was very good to me!!

but all the fun is gone now. i can already drive. alcohol is not that big of a deal. and i have to work tonight and tomorrow. so maybe i'm growing up and deciding that just b/c the 'rents are away, doesn't mean this mice has to play. ahhh scary thought! no more fun then!

after reading katie's trip down memory lane i started thinking of a few things.

that night waiting for katie to get back when she broke her phone. it was katy and i trying to break into kt*2's room w/ a wire coathanger, by sticking it under the door and hoping it would magically bend upward and unlock the door....not one of our finer moments...

tracey getting sooo drunk on two beers that she ate ravioli off the floor, lit her sock on fire and fell multiple times in the hallway. and who could forget her dry heaves into the trashcan while walking down the hall or the fact that she was "bleeding out" on her knee then to her stomach or vice versa, who can remember?

how about the time uhh michael ahhh blomer pulled on the belt katie was wearing and it broke at the sigma pi house...speaking of...i still don't have a black belt....

even though i didn't see it, telling the story is just as funny....katie getting her foot caught in her laundry bag and falling down....w/ mommy watching

so i'm down to like 15 more days of work and like 27 more days here in indiana and i'm getting super pumped. i can handle work i suppose. a little more shopping then say adios to my old friends. it's not anywhere near as hard this year to say goodbye. we've all moved on, ok well some of us did and grew up, while others still want that high school life back. kinda feel sorry for them, but oh well.

so like this next 3-4 weeks should be all uphill. i will do my best not to complain so that the time will pass even faster. i am getting sooo excited. i can't wait to see everyone!!! and there's a select few that i haven't talked to in a coupla weeks that i'd really like to see. ahhh makes me sad. so i'm ready...bring on the books!!!
