every summer since i can remember i have lived at the beach. rain or shine. sun or clouds my friends and i were there. ususally i went w/ a few different groups during the week, but always ended up laying out or playing in the waves. even when i worked at steak n shake from 11pm-7am and slept all day, i still went to the beach nearly everyday. until now....

i've been to the beach once and it was cloudy. i had an awesome tan when i came home from florida for spring break, gradually lost it, and sadly am not regaining it. everyone's working so no one can go to the beach. i guess i could go by myself but then i'd be open to nasty guys and their comments, which i have to deal enough w/ when i'm w/ my friends.

so when i go back to school i'm gonna be sooo white and i usually get a fabulous tan in the summer. gosh this college stuff is killer. but i love it and wouldn't trade 2nd semester for anything....well maybe a few things ;)

i got two emails today from katie and inside both of them were really cute pictures from this year. seth, kt's, and jen at night time which was sooo lovely except for the blinkage factor on jflo's part.

now the second picture....it's sooo wonderful of jen, katie, mynheir and i, but there's just one problem w/ it. my bra is totally hangin out, darn V-neck shirts, never again, yeah right!

but that's really an interesting subject though, b/c like i've never had a picture floating around either at friends' houses or on the internet that i was embarrassed of until now....i mean yeah i've had plenty of bad pics taken over the years, but not where my "underpinings" were noticeable. but kate, if anyone asks, it's a tank top ;)

so since katie blogged her first impressions, i'll just detail the first time i remember being out and running into katie. well something like that......

Reading Day-1st semester-2001
the girls and i get ready and decide that it's time to hit the road. 1st stop-chuck's...when we get there 90% of our crew was drunk. jen and i were both sober and so was lindsay now that i think of it. anyway so jen and i walk through the door and see seth. then the next person we see is katie...."my friends!!! i love you guys!!!" ok so katie had been drinking a tad bit. needless to say she didn't make it out to sae that night and poor jen had to dd on READING DAY!!! (the humanity)

but that was a fun Reading Day i guess, i mean we got our first write ups, had our friends drive drunk, lesley throwin up in bertha and a nice trip to food lion at 4am. ok sooo no it wasn't fun, but 2nd semester READING DAY was much better. before and during....we'll leave the after party part alone, but really it was filled w/ a lot of hello kissing and goodbye hugging. NOTHING MORE!!! hahahahahaha
