you go to college so that you can get a degree in a field you like so you can get a job that you don't mind spending the rest of your life doing.

summer jobs, which end up being like 9 weeks total, are like the exact opposite. most ppl work somewhere they hate, for not nearly enough money, just so they have enough money to go back to school in the fall and do it all over again.

you know it's bad when you start praying for the lights to go out just so you can come home early. even at $8.50/hour the job is still so awful you can bare another day and come home in tears. is the money really worth it?

did you ever see those famous ppl on tv who are asked what jobs they did before they became famous? so when day when i'm famous and on jay leno and he asks me "so when you were a kid, what kind of jobs did you have?" i'm gonna feel like such an idiot when i say "well one summer i worked the grave yard shift at steak n shake. another summer i was a telemarketer..." boy the life i lead i tell ya....

why is it that there are ppl you don't start getting close to until it's time to go and then you realize that you liked them a whole lot more than you thought???

it's crazy but w/ these select ppl, it drives me nuts when i don't talk to them and when i see them online or when they start talking to me, it makes my day. i wish i could spend one day w/ them just to remember how much i fun i had....and see if the same things are still there.....anyone care to work for me so i can go see these "ppl"???
