so in like less than 24 hrs...i'll be on the road. i'm taking a break from packing up my car. it's packed so tightly that if i were to get into an accident, i wouldn't be harmed b/c there'd be enough stuff to cushion me.

i can't decide how i'm feeling right now. i said goodbye to some friends today, weird feeling leaving them knowing that i won't see them until prolly thanksgiving, unless one of us makes the conscious effort. but at this point in my life, i'm glad to be leaving them and going to the ppl at school then the other way around, so i guess that's a good thing.

i'm generally just bouncing off the walls in anticipation of being back in morehead w/ everyone. tho leaving my parents is not fun. well i can leave my dad and be fine...that's no big deal. but my mom....she's lonely w/o me and she means the world to me, so i hate it not seeing her for months on end. but i have to grow up and we all know that.

i'm kinda gettin nervous tho seeing all my friends and sisters. sisters..hmmm weird i never say that. i don't think of them as sisters...i usually just say girls in my sorority, well anyway...i'm nervous b/c of reactions ya know...things change..not always for the best...

oh goodness 24 hours....i just can't wait!!!

9 months is a long time. a long time to be away from home. 9 months w/o having mom and dad hand you money all the time. 9 months means a lot of stuff you have to take.

every facet of life can be covered in those 9 months, so gotta be prepared. clothes for every occassion are a must. gotta put those clothes somewhere. so gotta get rubbermaid tubs to house all those articles of mass quantity clothes.

don't forget social time. tv is a must have. can't miss real world or sorority life...or the last season of friends. can't forget the most coveted prized possession, the link to the out side world...the one and only computer w/ webcam.

when planning to eat or cook, dishes and pots and pans may come in handy. throw those in the trunk too. notebooks, paper, pens and pencils are the brain snacks must fit somewhere.

memories have to come along. pictures of everyone ever met and a story to go along w/ them. songs on cds and tapes for when the bad mood really hits. dreams, goals, desires...they all gotta squeeze in too.

so little car, lotta stuff....is it all gonna fit??? it better!
