"take my advice, don't have a real wedding, just go to the courthouse and get it done, it's a lot cheaper and tons easier!" the grand advice from one of my best friends (who obviously is getting married soon) came today as kind of a shock. granted i've never really planned out my wedding, but as much stress and money it would take, i'd gladly welcome that in a heartbeat.

just the idea of a lavish engagement that would extend into a new life for me and my husband is enough for me. the planning goes through so many facets from dresses to flowers to reception halls....the excitement would be endless, well until the bills comes.

hopefully my mr right and i will have enough money to have the kind of wedding we want. otherwise we might have to take a midnight rendzvous (sp?) to vegas and get it settled there. better keep my fingers crossed that i don't have to go to one of those elvis chapels or something....hahaha
