so since i'm all about quoting the dictionary lately, i'll continue w/ that. passion is intense emotion: anger; rage; ardent love; zeal; enthusiasm...etc. want is feel a desire for; be without, lack; require; need.

i think there's a huge difference in passion and want, beyond the dictionary definition. so how dumb am i that i knew the word diction meant word choice but didn't realize diction..dictionary...can you say moron? i'm getting all like english in here lately...weird.

anyhow...i don't want much. i want to find my soul mate, have kids, be happy. but i don't have a passion for that. i do have a passion for being a mother though. i have a passion for acting and helping people. i have a passion for curbing other people's eating disorders. i am passionate about sports.

i want to be liked. i want to be wanted or needed. i have a passion for having fun. the most fun week i had in my college career thus far was greek week last year. i loved college and i loved my sorority and my friends and the pikes. nothing could go wrong. so i took on the job of being a greek week delegate b/c i am passionate about fostering the greek community and sharing my passion for that week. it's different with being MVP. i don't have a passion for it whatsoever. i wanted to be on exec though. see the difference?

i want to get good grades. i have a passion for intelligence though. i want to be involved. i can't help it and only you know why i have to be involved. some ppl don't understand or try to and that hurts. ahh that's life and i'm learning.

alas (btw i really love that word) i think i shall do a lil reading before i go to bed. maybe i'll write next time about me as a hypocritical feminist. would ya like that??? :)
